To my friends at The M Theory

PREFACE: PLEASE READ THE POST AT THIS LINK BEFORE PROCEEDING. THANKS

Greetings, M Theory readers.

As you have no doubt already seen on one of your other favorite reading spots, asking questions about 9/11 apparently proves you have some need to make things up or otherwise offer some grandiose scheme to fill in the blanks — even though someone else has already done all your thinking for you on that subject.

To the author of that M Theory post and all those who read it, I offer the following short video. Watch it, and then tell me if it is a bunch of trivial, convenient coincidences that ultimately mean nothing or the beginning of more stirring thoughts about just what really happened:

 del.icio.us  Stumbleupon  Technorati  Digg

What did you think of this article?

No, not "trivial, convenient coincidences," but actually much, much less. What is the alternative hypothesis? "It was an inside job" won't cut it. Did the US government KNOW about the attacks ahead of time, or actually carry them out? Answer that question and offer some proof. Was the Pentagon hit by a plane or not? Answer that question and offer some proof.

If Truthers want to be taken seriously, then be serious, dammit. If you reject the "official story," then tell an alternate ONE -not an alternate couple of dozen stories made up solely of questions.

I've admitted to the possibility of my own bias -I knew someone who died on Sept. 11. What's YOUR reason for believing what you do?

It is easy to see that you continue to accept what you're handed without performing any sort of open-minded investigation of your own.

But don't think you're somehow better equipped mentally because you simple accept. You're just more easily persuaded, I suppose.

Different conclusions do not indicate "simple acceptance" any more than they indicate "borderline paranoia."

The question is not who is better equipped mentally -it is how anyone arrives at a specific set of beliefs. If they're not rational, what are they?

And your seeming unwillingness to attempt to honestly investigate and/or research alternative ideas lead me to see a separate bias outside of the one you admit.

No piece of new information, so it seems, would mean anything of any substance to you.
